
The new Printworks Wood puzzle Archimedes is perhaps the oldest known mathematical puzzle made by the Greek mathematician Archimedes some 2200 years ago. The puzzle consists of 14 pieces of various shapes and the goal is to combine the pieces to form a square.
In 2003 and with the help of a computer, Mathematician Bill Cutler found 536 unique ways of assemble the square shape. Eager to top it off?
